Two Park Rangers walked into their first day of work… and the rest is history!
It all began on the first day of work for both Emily and Andrew at Lowell National Historical Park in 2010. They were both so excited to begin their new jobs as seasonal Park Rangers. Little did Emily and Andrew know, they not only found their careers that day, but also their best friend and future spouse!
That summer Emily and Andrew found ways to see one another at work and hang out with each other after work. The real magic happened at the Lowell Folk Festival. Together they ate, danced, and walked around until 3 a.m. The rest is history!
Emily and Andrew have had almost 8 years of wonderful adventures since then including traveling together, becoming best friends, moving in together, and even adopting a little fat cat named Clio.
Andrew proposed in November 2017 after a day long adventure in a city they both love, Boston. They spent the day doing all their favorite things: visiting the MFA, walking around the Fens, having two dinners, and even seeing a play! Andrew got down on one knee with the beautiful Boston skyline as a backdrop and, of course, Emily said Yes!
Emily and Andrew are so excited to spend the rest of their lives going on adventures and building a family together!
